Stories From The Haunted Hospital #1
8 years ago, I made this comic book series. I photocopied a hundred copies of each issue and sold them to comic and record shops around my home city of Leeds.
‘Stories from the Haunted Hospital’ was my answer to those EC comics and Twisted Tales which I held so dear to my heart also, I was really inspired by Adrian Tomine’s comic book series ‘Optic Nerve’ – especially the first story I did, ‘Complicated Cat’ in this issue, I plagerised certain images straight from an Optic Nerve. I owe a lot to Tomine’s work, both his art and stories.
I’ll upload another issue next week, there are 3 issues all together.
