4 Retards in the Woods [plus A&J rejection letter]
The rejection letter from ADAM & JOE’S take over tv.
I know it’s just a rejection letter… WRONG!
I found this letter while digging through some old crap recently and thought it’d make a nice blog post.
It’s from ADAM & JOE! Well, ‘World of wonder’ but still – I was very happy at the thought that someone sat and watched my film and even considered using it for ADAM & JOE’S takeover tv show. So much so, I kept hold of this letter with great pride.
I know, I was rejected but I didn’t see it like that. I saw it as a true accomplishment and I even put it in my record of achievements for my film school interview back in 2003.
4 RETARDS IN THE WOODS
Was a short I made during 6 Form (2001) just for the A&J Takeover TV show that was accepting submissions. Me and my friends were watching all the Kevin Smith films at the time and so that’s where I was coming from when we made this, the end result is some sorta shitty effort of CLERKS crossed with EVIL DEAD II
